Gurumurthy Kasinathan participated in a seminar on "Estimating the Requirements for 21st Century Schooling in India," held at the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS) on 5 June 2025. The seminar was organised to discuss 21st century schooling needs for NITI Aayog.
Gurumurthy spoke on the implications of Artificial Intelligence and technology adoption for teachers and students in Indian schools, cautioning against the unchecked adoption of proprietary AI models and platform technologies.
