Gurumurthy Kasinathan, Director and Lead - Public EdTech, moderated the panel "What Can Education Systems Do to Mitigate the Risks of Digital Learning," held as part of a national webinar on Online Safety in Education, convened by UNICEF India on 22 July 2026.
As digital learning becomes increasingly integral to education, ensuring children's safety and well being online is no longer optional but essential. The webinar examined how education systems can strengthen online safety while supporting meaningful and equitable digital learning, with the panel shedding light on measures to protect students in the digital realm and the roles of school leaders, teachers, and parents in ensuring children's online safety.
