Nandini Chami has been invited to take part in a panel discussion on ‘Status and Rights of Platform and Gig Workers: Evidence from India’ that will be conducted on 10 October 2023 at 5 PM IST. The discussion is being organized by LEAD, Krea University and the Centre for Research on the Economics of Climate, Food, Energy and Environment, Indian Statistical Institute, as part of their project ‘Digital Platforms and Women's Economic Empowerment’ (DP-WEE).

During the session, panelists will discuss a recently launched report by the DP-WEE team- 'Digital Platforms and Labour Laws in India' that accentuates the legal and judicial frameworks to safeguard the conditions of platform workers in India.
