Re-Wiring Women's Rights Debates in the Digital Age
12th-14th September, 2014 IT for Change announces a 3 day course on gender, governance and technology in the Indian context, that is open to activists and NGO leaders working in the areas of women's rights and social justice, as well as young research scholars in the social and political sciences, based in India.
The course will open up a space for dialogue and deliberation, where participants can interact with senior policy makers, leading feminist scholars and practitioners with extensive experience in the areas of community informatics and community media, to identify critical concerns for democracy, accountable governance and gender justice in the digital age.
All participants will receive a full scholarship that covers costs of travel and stay for the course. The course has 20 seats.
